Norm's warm, witty, sophisticated, signature style is legendary in illustration and animation, as the driving force behind some of the most successful and influential advertising and marketing campaigns of our current era.
His goal and schooling in fine art was quickly changed after moving to the crucible of New York City's Madison Avenue, where he won many awards as an Advertising Art, Design and Creative Director on major accounts.
He's brought all that insight, understanding and work ethic to his illustrative work, with unmatched results. Norm credits much of this success to the breakthrough power of humorous illustration, which research shows to have more than double the pulling power of more common forms of communication. Norm's work in publishing has appeared in best selling books, hundreds of publications, textbooks, computer software, corporate logos and many greeting cards. His books for American Girl have sold nearly five million copies, and his medical advice books recently won the 'Gold Award' for Public Service, for an astonishing five consecutive years. Norm says the best part of his job is working with clients and helping achieve their goals.
