Few people would imagine, after viewing the warm and vibrant color palette of Jim Dryden's marvelous paintings, that he's not from a latitude far south of Minnesota. In reality though, he's a long time resident of the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metropolitan Area.
Jim studied both art and music at the University of Minnesota before earning his BFA in painting and printmaking at the prestigious Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
